How Pokechain works
Everything you need to know about packs, grading, pricing, buybacks, and trading.
What is Pokechain?
Pokechain is a collectible card platform on Base chain where you open packs to pull real Pokémon cards. Every card you pull becomes a BKR-graded NFT — a digital version of a PSA-graded slab with a certificate, grade, and verified market value.
Cards are one-of-one. Once a card is pulled, it's removed from the pool forever. Every card has a real market value based on PSA 10 graded prices from PriceCharting and eBay sold data.
Open packs
Choose Pulse, Apex, or Grail tier. Each pack pulls 1 card from a pool of 100+ cards across 15 sets.
BKR graded
Every card is graded 8-10 by Bankr Grading. Higher value cards receive higher grades, just like real PSA submissions.
Real value
Prices based on PSA 10 market data. Cards range from $5 to $58,000. You can sell on our marketplace or OpenSea.
Choose your pack
Each pack pulls 1 card from the pool. Higher tier packs have access to higher value cards. All payments are in USDC on Base chain via Bankr wallet.

The card pool contains 102 cards from 15 sets including 151, Evolving Skies, Obsidian Flames, Cosmic Eclipse, Gym Challenge, EX Unseen Forces, EX Dragon Frontiers, EX Hidden Legends, and more.
How to play
Connect your wallet
Click "Connect" and sign in with Bankr. No extensions needed — Bankr creates a wallet for you on Base chain. Fund it with USDC to buy packs.
Choose a pack tier
Pulse ($35), Apex ($70), or Grail ($120). Each tier pulls from different value ranges. Higher risk = higher potential reward.
Hold to open
Press and hold the pack to charge it. When the energy bar fills up, the pack explodes and reveals your card inside a BKR-graded slab.
Collect, trade, or sell
Your card is minted as an NFT on Base. Keep it in your portfolio, list it on our marketplace, trade on OpenSea, or wait for a buyback.
BKR Grading system
Every card pulled on Pokechain is automatically graded by Bankr Grading (BKR). The grade is based on the card's market value tier — higher value cards receive higher grades, reflecting the real-world correlation between card condition and price.
Grade 10 — Gem Mint
Cards valued $500+. Perfect condition equivalent. The rarest pulls.
Grade 9 — Mint
Cards valued $30-$500. Excellent condition. Most chase cards and SARs.
Grade 8 — Near Mint
Cards valued under $30. Great condition. Common holos and rares.
Each graded card includes a BKR certificate number, the card name, set, grade, and market value — all visible on the slab label and stored on-chain as NFT metadata.

All card values on Pokechain are based on PSA 10 Gem Mint graded prices from real market data:

Buyback program
💸 We buy back your cards every 48 hours
Every 2 days, Pokechain runs a buyback round using platform fee revenue. We purchase cards from collectors at a percentage of their market value, giving you guaranteed liquidity — no need to wait for a buyer on the marketplace.
How it works: Cards are bought back at 80% of their current PSA 10 value. The buyback budget comes from pack sales revenue (the 5% marketplace fee + pack profits).
Example: You pull a Charizard ex SAR (value: $2,500). At the next buyback round, you can sell it to Pokechain for $2,000 USDC — instantly, no marketplace fees.
Priority: Higher-value cards are bought back first. If the buyback budget for that round is $5,000, we buy the most valuable cards submitted until the budget is used up.
Marketplace
Every card is an ERC-721 NFT on Base chain. You have multiple ways to sell or trade:
Pokechain Market
List your card on our built-in marketplace. Set your own price. 5% fee on sales. Buyers pay in USDC.
OpenSea
Your NFTs appear automatically on OpenSea (Base). Trade with the wider NFT community. Full OpenSea features.
Buyback
Submit your card to our 48-hour buyback program. Get 80% of market value in USDC, instantly.
Bankr wallet
Pokechain uses Bankr as the wallet provider. When you connect, Bankr creates a secure wallet for you on Base chain. No browser extensions, no seed phrases.
Funding: Send USDC to your Bankr wallet address on Base. You can buy USDC on any exchange and send it directly.
Withdrawing: Go to your Portfolio page and use the Withdraw section to send USDC to any wallet address. You can also manage your wallet at bankr.bot.
Rewards program
Earn free packs without spending USDC:
Daily vault scan
Scan once every 24 hours. 50% chance of winning a free Pulse, Apex, or Grail pack.
Daily streak
Open at least one pack per day. 7-day streak unlocks a bonus vault scan.
Weekly quests
Complete 3 missions (open packs, list cards, collect sets) to claim a free pack.
